Account Deletion

Delete your account from the app

1. Open QR Maker and go to Settings → Account → Delete account.
2. Re-authenticate to confirm it is you.
3. Confirm the deletion.

What happens immediately

Your account is closed right away. Anything that depends on it stops working at once: your public bio pages, digital cards, dynamic QR links, and tracked links no longer resolve.

Retention and permanent erasure

Your data is not erased the instant you delete your account. We retain it briefly and permanently erase it within 30 days of your request (never more than 90 days).

If you change your mind, you can restore your account by signing in again before the erasure date. Your account and its content come back online.

What we keep after erasure

Once your data is permanently erased, we keep only non-personal records:

• Anonymised abuse reports about content you published, with no personal identifiers.
• Aggregate statistics that contain no personal identifiers.
• A minimal internal tombstone: your former account id and the date it was erased, kept only to prove the erasure happened. It holds no other personal data.

No longer have the app?

You do not need the app to request deletion. Email privacy@qrmaker.com.tr from the address registered on your account with the subject “Account deletion”, and include:

• The email address on your account.
• Your display name or username, if you remember it, to help us find the right account.

We will verify the request and complete the deletion within the same 30-day period described above.

Deleting local data

Data stored only on your device is not part of your account and is not removed by the steps above. To remove local data, either uninstall the app or use the in-app Backup/Delete tools.
